See every device signed in to your account in Preferences, and revoke any you no longer use or don't recognize.
The search-and-add box stands out more, with a bolder outline and a soft glow while you're typing in it.
Press Enter on a task you're editing to save it and get back to your list — the task you just changed flashes so you can see where it went.
Type “call mom tomorrow” and the date is set for you — no symbols needed. Words like “in Errands” or “urgent” get a dotted underline, and Tab or Tidy turns them into a list or priority. Change how this works in Preferences › Dates in plain words.
Bring your Todoist projects into voodoo — one export per project or a whole backup, with subtasks, sections, labels, dates, repeats and comments.
Click a task's title or any of its chips to edit it right in the search box, with that part already selected. Each chip also has a one-click × to remove it.
When Voodoo can only understand part of a date or repeat — like "every 2 weeks on the 3rd sat" — it now leaves your words alone and underlines them, with one click to use the part it understood or keep it all as text.
Repeats understand more of how you'd say them: every weekday, every mon and thu, every other week, every 15th, yearly on apr 15. And they read back in plain English, like "after 3 weeks".
Lists and tags can have spaces now. Type an existing one as-is (#Grocery List), or put a new one in quotes (#"Book Club"). Imported lists keep their real names.
A broken or mistyped link now shows a friendly page with a button back to your tasks, instead of a blank error.
See what's changed in each update from What's New in the side panel menu — a dot tells you when there's something you haven't read.
Importing from Remember The Milk now turns your Smart Lists into saved views, ready in the side panel.
Type dates the way you think of them: ^3d, ^in 2 weeks, ^next month, ^4/15, or just ^9am. Heads up: a bare "m" now means months everywhere, so write minutes as =30min — Voodoo warns you if an estimate comes out at a year or more.
Saving a full copy of your tasks is now called Back up — pick "Back up data…" from the menu or type /backup, and bring it back any time with /restore.
Screen readers now hear which task you're editing and when it's saved or discarded, and can follow the current row in the list.
Press Shift-Enter on a task to add subtasks under it, one per Enter — Esc when you're done.
A task's long notes and attached files now come along when you open it in the search box, as chips you can remove.
Arrow down onto a task to open it right in the search box, edit it, and press Enter to save — Esc throws the edit away and brings your search back.
Typing a date, repeat, estimate or priority now suggests how to finish it right in the box — press Tab to accept, or keep pressing Tab to see other choices.
Search for either of two things at once — type `#work | #home` to see tasks from both lists together.
You can now delete your account yourself from the account menu, with a chance to export your tasks first.
If some changes get stuck and "Sync paused" appears, you can now save them to a file and let everything else sync again.

Sharing a link to this app now shows its name, description and a preview instead of a bare URL.
Empty Trash whenever you like with /empty-trash, or from the app menu.
Restore a backup you exported, from Restore a backup in the app menu. You see exactly what will change before anything is written — what's new, what gets replaced, and what stays untouched — and you can undo it afterwards.
When syncing stalls, the header now says so — instead of quietly looking like everything is up to date.

Bring your tasks over from Remember The Milk, and export everything you have whenever you like.
Push a task to another day without finishing it: ⌘⇧→ moves it a day later, ⌘⇧← a day earlier.
Zoom in on one project: click its task count, or press ⌘↓, to see just that branch. ⌘↑ steps back out.
Turn on a row of buttons under the task field for dates, priority, lists, tags, repeats and more — handy until you know the shortcuts. Find it in Preferences.
Search results show which list and project each task lives in, and clicking one takes you there.
Add a task from anywhere that can hold a link — a bookmarklet, a launcher, a note — with a web+voodoo: link.
Type / to see every command, or > to jump straight to a list.
Share a page to Voodoo from another app, or use its New task shortcut, and it's ready to add as a task.
Install Voodoo as an app on your phone or computer — it opens even without a connection.
When one tick completes a whole project, Voodoo tells you how many tasks it closed, with an Undo that brings them all back.
Projects show how much of them is done, right on their row.
Start with ~ and write a task the way you'd say it — “call the bank friday at four, high priority” — and Voodoo picks out the date, priority and list for you.
Search finds “café” whether or not you type the accent.
Tasks with a future start date stay out of your list until their day comes, and any search can be saved as a view you reopen from the side panel.
Give a task a start date with ^^, like ^^mon, alongside its due date.
Deleted tasks go to Trash, where you can undo or recover them for 30 days.
Lists open with their projects folded, so you see the big picture first. Unfold any branch with a click or a key.
Each detail on a task reads exactly as you'd type it — #Errands, ^Fri, !1 — so your list teaches you the shortcuts.
Type /help for a guide to everything you can type in the task field.
Sign in to sync your tasks across all your devices, live.
Print your list from the app menu.
Drop a task you've decided not to do: it's crossed off without counting as done, and you can undo it.
Check off the highlighted task from the keyboard with Alt+Enter, or Space when the task field is empty.
Ticking a project completes everything inside it, and finishing a project's last task completes the project too.
Trying Voodoo without an account? A banner reminds you those tasks live only in this browser and aren't synced anywhere.
Today, Overdue and other agenda lists sort soonest-due or highest-priority first.
New tasks land at the top of the list and flash so you can see where they went.
Nest tasks inside each other and read your list as an outline.
Repeating tasks understand the same phrases Remember The Milk does, and always show the schedule Voodoo will actually follow.
A task you check off stays in place, struck through, until you move on — so undoing a mis-click is one more click.
Repeat a task until a set date, or every few months.
Sign in with Google.
Start typing a shortcut like ^ or # and a hint shows what it does, with your lists and tags ready to pick.
Repeating tasks roll forward to their next date when you complete them.
Search forgives typos: misspell a word, swap two letters or type just the start, and it still finds the task.
Rename tasks right in the list, click any detail to change it, and hide completed tasks from Preferences.
Browse your lists and tags from a side panel, and switch to full width when you want more room.
One field does it all: type to find a task, press Enter to add it.
